Starting now, AFAS puts every new client on the CompliChamp platform, and existing clients will migrate to it. A client pays only for the products it needs, and HR teams and brokers reach all of them from a single sign-in.
ACAChamp
ACA reporting and IRS e-filing since 2012
ACAChamp determines who counts as full-time and tests each offer for affordability. It prepares Forms 1094-C and 1095-C, plus Forms 1094-B and 1095-B for self-insured groups below the ALE threshold.
Every form passes a review screen before it goes to the IRS through AIR.
LeaveChamp
FMLA administration in one system
LeaveChamp follows a leave request from the employee’s first notice to their return to work. It checks eligibility and pre-fills all seven DOL forms.
Countdowns track the 5-business-day and 15-day certification deadlines.

ADAChamp keeps a case record for each accommodation request, with the notes and history that show how the employer handled it.

COBRAChamp
COBRA notices and deadlines, run by the employer
COBRAChamp is a COBRA tool for employers on the CompliChamp platform. Employers run their own COBRA work in it, and AFAS does not act as the COBRA administrator. It drafts seven COBRA notices, including the Election Notice, and records each mailing with a certificate of mailing.
It tracks the 44-day election notice deadline, the 60-day election period, the 45-day initial premium and the 30-day grace period. Beneficiaries make their elections in a self-service portal. Employees can submit their COBRA payments in COBRAChamp.

Plan testing plus forms and notices
The Toolkit holds Nondiscrimination Testing and our forms and notices solution. Upload a census and it identifies highly compensated and key employees, then runs the Internal Revenue Code tests for Section 125, 105(h), 129, 127 and 79 plans.
Test at mid-year while there’s still time to make changes. For forms and notices, AFAS maintains the notices employers have to distribute, including the FMLA general notice, the CHIP notice, the GINA notice and the Medicare Part D creditable coverage notice.
